化妆(Cosmetic)一词好早来源于古希腊，含义是“化妆师的技巧”或“装饰的技巧”，也就是指把人体的自身优点多加发扬，而把缺陷加以掩饰和弥补。With the progress and development of society, cosmetics are increasingly becoming indispensable consumer goods in people's daily life. With regard to the definition of cosmetics, the regulations and provisions of countries (regions) in the world are slightly different. In China, the regulations on the supervision of cosmetics hygiene stipulates that cosmetics refer to the daily chemical industrial products which are distributed on any part of the human body surface (skin, hair, nails, lips, etc.) by means of wiping, spraying or other similar methods, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning, eliminating bad smell, skin care, beauty and decoration.

进口化妆品：指好后一道接触内容物的（分装/罐装）工序在境外（含港澳台）完成的产品。
国产化妆品：指好后一道接触内容物的（分装/罐装）工序在境内（中国大陆）完成的产品。通常情况下，好后一道接触内容物的工序是分装，或者罐装工序，因此进口原料在国内分装的产品，属于国产化妆品。

PS：除了进口香皂，剃须膏，牙膏等产品，其余化妆品均须做好化妆品备案电子信息凭证或者化妆品卫生许可批件方可进行申报

注册化妆品备案电子信息凭证或者化妆品卫生许可批件——国外备货——准备资料——发运（空运/海运）——报关——查验（如发生）——抽检（如发生）——贴好中文标签——出具国内检验检疫证明（卫生证书）——合法销售
备注：化妆品主要的是批文备案，有备案后就正常操作，申报也不麻烦的。
